Default Introducing myself from PA

Hi all, I'm glad I found this forum...I've recently rediscovered flyfishing at the age of about 38, but have known how to cast a fly rod since I was about 5 years old. My dad taught me to tie flies when I was 7 or 8, but I didn't ahve the patience for fishing until the last few years.

Nowmy job allows me to spend my summers in CO and I fish every chance I get!

I've learned to love the small streams, casting into tight areas and catching tiny rocky mountain trout!

Steelhead fishing in the winter keeps me going year round.

Nice to meet all of you!

Howdy FlyChick;

Look forward to reading your summertime Colorado posts (well all of them actually). I went to Univ. of Colorado so I know what you mean about those small creeks.

Welcome to the Forum. I too am from PA(Northeast) and am relatively new to the sport (6 Months). I've gotten a lot of help from members here. I'm sure you'll enjoy the posts and I'm looking forward to reading yours.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone, seems like a friendly place.

I guess I'll have to post updates on my CO adventures now that I've let the cat out of the bag!

To Susquehanna...I lived for 3 years about 200 feet from the susquehanna, but the closest I got to wildlife was seeing a blue heron from a bar on the other side of the river!
