Default Posting pictures?

Ive been trying to post some nice pics on my threads but it wont let me. After I hit submit the wheel spins for a few seconds then I get a blank white screen and my thread didn't post. Thoughts?

Also, the only way I've found to post pictures it to click the a/A button at the top right to enable editing mode then paste into the text. Is that the only way to post non URL images?

Ahhh, that's probably a good idea. Thanks. Was getting real frustrated as I tried different methods for a total of about 10 attempts.

Nick: The basic issue is that the forum doesn't allow you to upload a photo from your computer directly into a post due to virus issues we have had in the past. You either have to use a third party site like PhotoBucket, upload your photos there, then use the little yellow icon above the area where you type in posts to link from PhotoBucket to the post. The second method is to create a photo album/gallery on this site, upload your photos there, then use the little yellow icon to link from the album/gallery to your post.

Also, make sure when you use a site like Photobucket or create a gallery on this site, to shrink your photos in pixel size so that they show up better on your post and others don't have to scroll over in order to see the entire photo.

I use Photobucket to store photos for posting on forums.

Kelly.

Imageshack and imgur for me only for reasons that they beat the web blocker software at work!

And that was a great point about resizing the pixels. Image shack has a forum size selector for uploads that makes it straight forward.
