well for me i would need two outfits. one for trout and the other bass and salmon. out of there selection id probably choose a 8.5 4wt b3x with a ross reel and rio gold line for trout. and a sage 1 9ft 8wt with a ross reel and warm water taper line. im not qualified to speak on salmon as ive never fished for them.

I would get the RL Winston 9wt with a Lamson Vanquish LT Fly Reel

since I build my own, I would go for a new pistol and ammo.....

Re: If you won a $2000.00 shopping card at Cabela's
I would quickly trade it for cash, and buy from my local fly shop instead.
However, if that wasn't an option I would probably pick up two TFO BVK's in 6wt and 8wt. Pair them up with Lamson Guru's or something else that they sell with a decent drag, and throw some SA Mastery Magnum Textured line on them. With my leftover money, I'd probably pick up a 5wt Sage one, and pair that up with whatever reel I had enough money left over for. |

$2000 could buy more than one rig. Of just get an Echo 84 6wt and whatever reel feels right loaded with Rio line and pocket the change.

You could just stick with your current gear and buy all the tying materials you could ever want with the money. You could fully stock a whole room with materials to make anything you wanted for years.

Bass buggy type boat. Oars. Life vest. Electric motor. 2 marine batteries. Some type of sonar. Camp styled shotgun. Trailer for the boat. A winch for my aching back to put boat back on the trailer. Rod holder on boat. Anchor and rope. Machette. And finally, one heck of a seat for comfort. About covers it I think... :D
