I'll let you know when it gets here. It was +7° F this morning when I went to work this morning. I was told it got to 32°, but I tried to fish for a bit at about 2:30 this afternoon and I was having icing guides and ice on my line. If it did it wasn't for very long. Probably going to get down to single digits again tonight. It was 5° in the morning day before yesterday. At least it is staying on the right side of zero. As for that snow storm..... Hah! Missed me!

That same storm brought 50 mph winds (forecasted) and about a half of inch of rain (which was not forecasted) to us.

Odd part of all this 'crummy weather' is we're not getting enough in my general area (So. Oregon/Nor Cal). Just looking at some statistics and our snow pack is down an average of 35% from normal.

With that information why the Corp of Enggie's is dumping water out of the head waters of the Rogue River. Come September, things could be interesting?

It'd be nice to say this precip helped us.. but the ground is still frozen so none of it was absorbed into the ground to help replenish the area aquifers that took a huge hit last year... this 1-3" of rain the area got just hurts us right now... i haven't been out yet today...but im sure there was some flooding in the area

Just got off the phone with my parents who live out in the southwest part of Minnesota. They have an estimated 18" of snow on the ground, with another 10" expected through tomorrow afternoon. The snowblower is getting a huge workout I've been told.
