Default We skipped Spring here in the Rogue River Valley.

A week/change ago we were a couple of degees above freezing. Walked out the back (covered portch) to have smoke. Like getting hit in the face: 93.1 degrees in the shade.

Same up here in Concrete. Snowed just a couple weeks ago. With freezing temps in the mornings until last Friday... and has been in the upper 80's for a couple of days this week! Hard to believe

Here in the South . USA, there hasn't been a real Spring like this in years. We actually have had a good cool spring.

Hear you LB, hear you. Last bit on 'Global Warming' was the average winter temp (world wide) was down 3C. Mom Nature is fooling with our brains.

Unless you're Al Gore whose make millions off this 'lets talk' ****. Check up on your own; he's now a multi-multi millionaire selling this tosh.

Very full 'rice bowl?'

Fred The same thing happened over here when it was Spring & Summer we firstly had heaps of Rain & Cold weather now it's Autumn The Native Wattles & many other trees are still in Flower about 3-4 months early whereas all The Oak & Elms have dropped most of their leaves & are a Real Pain as there are Leaves Piled up everywhere.

If you don't know the difference between climate and weather, maybe you ought to ask someone to explain it to you.

Peter, at the risk of sounding 'disrespectful,' I'm fully aware of the difference. 10,000 years ago (give or take a week) we were in the middle of an ice age. In the 1500's (northern Europe/UK) they almost had another.

Climate on this little blue ball in space has gone through lots of evolutions in in its few billion years of existence. And it will continue to do so. Or so I'm told, but not by Al Gore.

Its hard to place a real finger on it as our data is real, and I mean real, young.

No disrespect intended Nate, but take a 8x11 tablet and do a 'T' from top to bottom. On one side (gooling is the easy way) and who says 'what,' and who pays them.

Other side of the 'T' is who "agrees to disagree."Usually self funded straight forward research. To put it in a nut shell, 'lets ignore what's already been done as its inconvenient information/truth.'

Or in another nut shell, I have a Master's Degree in Statistics. You give me a large enough set of numbers and I could 'prove' anything you want. You just have to ignore what you don't want to 'prove.'

Done this (" T bar") and the results were amazing. But most didn't like my answers; not what they wanted to see.
