Adjustable nymphing leaders

I keep seeing instructional on youtube and I know Cutthroat leaders makes one for sale but I keep looking at them and one question keeps coming to mind.

Why nail knot old fly line on both ends when you can get bobber stops for $3 for 10 so enough for 5 leaders?

I know I can't be the first one to think of this and if I am PM me for the adress to mail royalty checks :)

Just a thought

Re: Adjustable nymphing leaders

Kylebass91,

Before we began using the fly line nail-knotted on the heavy Maxima, we tried and tested every bobber stop product I could find. Our testing showed that after a brief time of fishing (less than a day) the bobber stops would soon not hold tight. This was after multiple depth changes and casting in fast current. I could not offer a product to our customers that would work loose after only a few uses.
