Stimpy V2, I'm a little south of where you're going...I'm not a city guy, I avoid Seoul like the plague. I'm always willing to head east to the mountains though, beautiful over there. Streams all over the place.
Hey guys I am stationed at Camp Humphreys. Looking to find some spots to fish and someone to go fishing with. Anyone want to go catch some trout/show me the ropes here? Thinking about going fishing next weekend.

I love this board. You ask about fly fishing in Korea of all places, and someone can put you on to shops, guides and patterns.

They actually moved me to Humphreys. Fishing is hard... really hard down here.

Hi Mike, got your email. The River Fly Guide is just outside of the I-Park/Emart gate of Yongsan Army Base. Just ask anyone on base and they'll know where it is. As you exit the I-Park/Emart gate look to your right and you will see a small parking lot. He's in there; white door with a large window. Usually just tying flies and drinking tea. Take a map of Korea and he'll point out some spots. Make sure to buy some flies from him to reciprocate. I don't know what his rates are but I highly recommend using him for a day. My favorite place was the Nurinchon. Caught many Lenok there. Also, I recommend not going out on Sundays; very bad traffic coming back to Seoul.

Make sure you call him to ensure he's in. mobile : (010)2495-1130

Thanks for the info. Where is the Nurinchon river? I googled it and am not seeing it. If you don't mind can you give me directions to it or the highway it is near? I will make my up to Seoul and check out the shop sometime. I am going fishing over the four day at some point. Trying to lock in where since it will be a 3-4 hour drive to bag some trout. Thanks for the help.

PM your email address and I'll send some info. It won't be until tonight though.
Stimpy, send me your email and I'll do the same.
