Obviously no one has yet mentioned the obvious, so I will: any fishing book by Robert Traver. (And when you want something different, Traver's Anatomy of a Murder is probably the best courtroom novel ever written.)

Fred- I ordered a copy today....Even though, my tying desk is 800 miles and 2 months away....i will wait to open that one...

Cant wait to get back to a cold mountain stream and visiting my local shops. I seem to appreciate them more now that i am away!!
