Thanks, somehow I missed that. I suppose I was taken in by your photos. Boy, what a difference a couple of years makes! Every fall around these parts before the steelhead start to run, lots of anglers can be seen randomly breaking out into the rain dance.



Hope you get some much needed rain soon.

Good point. That fishery is gone for at least a few years. It's in a place called Nicholas Flat just inside the northern boundary of Leo Carillo State Park.

The pond is (was) just a few miles inland from Leo Carillo State Beach off of Decker Canyon Road.

Maybe he just photoshopped some pictures of a dried up pond somewhere else in order to find out your favorite spot. You've been duped!
