I made a donation to the project on IndieGoGo and have been getting periodic email updates. They've finished filming and are now in production, think they said they are shooting for a spring '14 release?

Apparently it was a moving experience for the whole team; I can only vaguely imagine how it must've felt for Frank. I don't think anyone can truly understand the feelings he must have going back to a place of such terrible pain and sacrifice, yet such a noble cause...

Yes, I agree, Frank is a true hero, I donated to his trip and really glad to see that they were able to go back to Normandy and relive some of those sights and sounds. The video should be pretty inspirational.

Funny, Frank was given a rod by C Launstorfer....he made a rod for me in 1883....sorry 1983still got it....great rod

Normandy and what he, and thousands like him, went through is a real eye opener. There many years back and you just look out over that open beach and you know what kind of hell these people went through.

10,000 dead and wounded in less than one day. "Saving Private Ryan" got it right..
