My favorite reel is loaded with five weight line. It also is my favorite line I have too. I find myself using this five weight line on my nine foot four weight and my nine foot six weight. I punch through wind for long casts a little easier on the six weight and it loads the four up a little quicker for the smaller casts.

Both feel like the line was made for them. Like Joni said, try out a couple. Take your rod to your local flyshop and see if they will let you try a couple of their reels in the parking lot so you can see which line you would like to buy.
