Default Parenting Lesson.

I can't go fishing today. It's my youngest son's wedding day. Ceremony, luncheon, reception, etc. But I am so very excited to watch the kids open their wedding gifts later.

Why ?

The Moms helped set up the the gift regestery at some very nice department stores and specialty shops.

Dad (moi) got them set up with lists for Sportsmans Warehouse, and Cabellas. This is why it's important to have 2 parents.

The honeymoon is in a deluxe cabin on a guest ranch close to Yellowstone, where they are signed up for a few activities that include horseback riding and flyfishing. Looks like their life together is getting off to a good start

I'll be curious to see if they get any gifts from your gift registry locations. If so, be sure to let us know what they scored...

Well, the wedding gifts were opened last night. I'm not sure where the "good" stuff came from, but they scored a nice tent, an outdoor cooking set, 2 chairs, 1 fly rod, 1 vest, a charcoal grill, a cooler, and a double size zero degree sleeping bag.
They also got the usual assortment of "other" stuff, appliances, sheets, kitchenware, etc.
They are on the road today, going to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks, and then on to the guest ranch.
