Default Cuttie-thon 2013 Grays River, WY

I hope this doesn't get me in trouble but thought the group would be interested.

My good friend Zac Sexton does an annual "cuttie-thon" on the Grays River in WY which will be held this weekend, Aug 10-11. Essentially they walk and fish non-stop for 26.2 miles in an effort to raise money for trout and diabetes. He is an avid fisherman and bamboo rod builder (does a lot of work with Tom Morgan and was mentioned in the recent ESPN article.) He also has diabetes.

Again, I'm not asking for donations but simply bringing awareness and inviting you to attend.

Just to do this you have to be a bit crazy. It usually takes around 35 hours to complete. This is from his facebook account:

"Cuttie-thon 2013 is about to begin. This 27-mile, fly-fishing odyssey, begins Sat. morning at seven, and continues through the night, until mid afternoon on Sun. If you are free, meet us on the Grays River, southeast of Alpine, Wyo! This event raises funds to help Cutthroat trout and fund research to find a cure for diabetes. Donations can be sent to Cuttie-thon Foundation, 606 S. Main St., Buffalo, WY 82834. We appreciate everyone's support!" - Zac

Ok, that is nuts. A good kind of nuts, but 35 hours? That is some hard core flyfishing insanity. I wish I were there. Can you bring a beer caddy?
