Default Pike Streamer with very few material

Hey Guys,

I am from Turkey. We don't have fly fishing here at all. All materials i could find are in the photo. I also have fly tying tools.

I am going to a camp tonight and i want to catch Pike with my fly stuff. I need to make a streamer(minnow) to catch pike but i cannot find any fly patterns or videos that can be tied with the materials i have.

I need some serious help.

By the way. I don't have plastic eyes for minnow fly. All i have is metal beads. Can i use them instead? I can add black dots on them with nail polish.

Ty very much .

I'd love to help but dont see a picture

Eyes aren't necessary by the way but they do help. You could always use a bit of nail polish, paint, or a marker to create your own eyes too

Edit: now i see the picture

Very simple...

Take 4 of your white feathers and tie the in about half way down the hook shank. 2 on each side with the curve of the feather facing "in". Then take 2 of your orange feathers and tie them in by the stem and wrap them forward to the hook eye. Build a head with your thread and you have a pike fly

Ty very very verrrrryyy much. But i have a confusion.

Should i wrap the feathers around the hook or just tie them to shank?

By the way i want to make a couple of flies. So , other suggestions are welcome too .

The 4 white ones, you just tie to the shank facing backwards - those will the the tail of the fly. The orange ones, you wrap around the hook shank going forward

You are basically making a version of this fly but using feathers instead of rabbit strips

You can use all the colors that you have to make quite a few combinations

You are my hero now . In that fly in the picture, you don't have either eyes or a head. Do you think i a head and eyes?

Just build a small head with thread before you whip finish your flies. If you use white or a light colored thread, you can paint the eyes with nail polish.

You could also try tying a couple with your beads/weights

There you go!!!

That will catch a fish!! The good thing about pike is that they are aggressive and if you can put something in front of their face, chances are they will eat it!

Here is a link to a few more pike patterns that you should be able to tie with your supplies (they don't have to be exact-pike will go after just about anything that looks like it might be food):
