Default Strike Indicators

We often find many different scenarios that require the use of a strike indicator. I am not a huge fan of indicators, but they do have they place. When fishing slow / clear water, I like a small yarn indicator or Our Hi-vis Nymph leader. Both of these create the least amount of water surface disruption. When fishing choppy rough water, our adjustable thing-a-mabobber leader is great. We have recently added a slip indicator leader to our line of products. This system is great when fishing in deep water. Because the indicator becomes free to slide after the fish makes the strike, you no longer have the worry about landing problems that arise with a fixed indicator and a long length of leader/tippet. This new leader is made for 5-6 weight lines as well as 7-8 wt lines.

If you use an indicator, check these out. Nymphing Leader

Thanks for looking.

I fish a lot of tailgaters with super light tippets. I have found the simple pinch foam sticker indicators to be my favorite. They float well, are small, easy to cast, and non-intrusive. I have tried just about every tipe of indicator and foam stickers are the best for me.

Where do you place your foam pinched indicator? Leader/Tippett area?
