Enchanted Forrest

Well it's a beginning. Homemade fish habitat for the pond. Bought a 500ft roll of 5/8" drip irrigation tubing and the rest was scrap I had collected. Made four 4' horizontal, one round and a 6' tree.

Hope to make more as funds allow.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Enchanted Forrest

That's good work Mike, wonder if the tubing will hold its shape over the years. I should be doing that for my pond.

Re: Enchanted Forrest

Dave, it's the same type of tubing used on some of the commercial attractors.

Re: Enchanted Forrest

Those look great, and will make some awesome habitat.
As a word of caution.....be careful in your choice of scrap material.
I put a beautiful hunk of copper ore in a very large aquarium. It looked just like turquoise, but killed everything in the tank overnight. There was a sharp and expensive learning curve at that point.
Scrap copper tubing is easy to work with, but can be deadly. Commercial root killer, and septic tank root remover are made with copper sulphate. Don't make the mistake I did.
Stick with your poly tube. It's much safer.
