Default Big Weather change

Here in the Northern Adirondacks the weather is changing. We have had a few inches of snow and the temps have been in the teens. This weekend they are calling for temps to be high 40s and low 50s. I want to go out this weekend to the Au Sable river in Wilmington, They have a year round no kill zone. What do you think that I should throw out to these trout? I am still learning about fish behavior. I am not sure how they react to weather changes. I was planning on using some of the woolly worms and buggers that I tied. What do you think?

Default Re: Big Weather change

I've only fished it in the early summer but there are a lot of browns in that river. If it were me, this time of year, I would throw some large streamers. Especially on a cloudy day or just before dark.
milt spawn likes this.
