Thumbs up Orvis 1000 mile campaign.

Returning to basics, what a fantastic idea!

Hi John,

The MatSu Salmon Partnership has been addressing this problem for the past 5 years her in a bi way. I have not yet been on one of the projects but my name is in the labor pool. Maybe this year. The type of culverts they are showing have been a serious impact to salmon and trout here wherever we have a road.

If you are placing an Orvis order, there is an option to "round up" and then Orvis will match your donation. I did it on my last order, and I think this is a great project.

I really like this, of every Tom, Dick and Harry group out there wanting our money to help fight this or that, Orvis is actually putting equipment on the ground and fixing a serious problem.

I really like this type of project, Orvis is really stepping up and fixing a problem that has existed for a long time, good for them and all the volunteers who are helping make it a reality.

This 1000 mile project from Orvis is a very common sense approach that can actually make a difference.
