Helpful fishing tips....

Always unplug your boat trailer from your vehicle before backing into the water to keep from blowing your bulbs, unless of course you happen to like replacing bulbs. lol

Well, these tips are all stuff that I have actually learned by personal experience:

Problem: Do remember to put in the plug before you launch. Do remember to bring a plug!
Solution: Tie the plug to a piece of rope and stick it on the motor when you can see it.

Problem: Make sure Grandpa strings the fish properly so that all the fish don't swim off.
Solution: Keep reminding Grandpa about that string of fish that he lost.

Problem: Don't tie your boat to the piling at high tide, tie it to the floating dock.
Solution: Cut the rope at low tide just before the boat starts to take on water

The good thing about personnal experience is that it really drives the lesson to be learned home!

After catching a few fish (and tree branches) on the same fly, don't be too
lazy to walk 20 feet to your canoe, and sharpen the hook. Lost 3 trout
a couple days ago because of laziness. Actually, one trout jumped out of
my hand because I was lazy, and left the net in the canoe. These were stocked
fish, so keeping was the plan.

Oh Yeah! After keeping a couple of fish for dinner, don't be too lazy to stop at
the grocery store for a lemon, especially if you have to drive right past it to
get home...LOL!!!

This is a recurring problem with me, and the hook hone was in the canoe cuz
I'm too lazy to carry my pouch. I'm not too lazy to load up a canoe, pack
it with gear, and then paddle it around. What's up with that...LOL????
