depending on where you are and the lighting and colors are good , looks like a green banded water snake, harmless except for a possible infection at a bite site

I lived in S. Florida and nothing getts the adrenaline going like having a 10-12 foot Rock Python slither by as you are standing knee deep in the water fishing

where I live and fish now, there are copious varieties of slithering critters so I always have one of my sidearms with me, first two rounds are snake loads followed by MEGA bone crushers for the belligerent Mtn. Cat or Bear...I like being prepared...

was unprepared once...NEVER...NEVER AGAIN !

you have got to see what passes for "tourists" on the strip...unbelievable!!

I'm 64 yrs whatever and I dress better for bed than most of them

AND I DON"T WEAR A DAMN THING TO BED !!!

and table manners they wear their ball caps backwards AT THE TABLES of some of the REALLY classy restaurants and they use their forks like they are mucking out a stall...

I visit Lake Meade NP a lot and we have several varieties of Buzz Worms including the VERY nasty Mohave Green, google that one and see why I carry snake loads

feel free make make fun of the tourists...most of them earned it

guess that would be one reason I have no real desire to go wading in creeks and streams.
