Joni go boom.....
This is what happens when the brakes on your bike kick a$$. Hit the brakes, do an endo and come down on your elbow. Broken on Saturday, she has a "consultation" tomorrow at 2pm. with the surgeon. Needless to say, she's pissed. No fishing, no bike riding, no music (did have a gig to open for Great White next weekend) for a while. She did say she has plenty of time to make furled leaders.

Notice the shirt she has on?

Dam!! I thought you were going to say she was chucking streamers with a ten foot 8WT. Throw some ice on it and mend well. Good luck.

Hi Allen,

Having a long history of getting buggered up myself I can see this is a bad one! Tell her I send best wishes for quick recovery please. Was she riding a bicycle or motorcycle?

Joni, if you can hear me, take careful time with that.

Ard

Ard, it was her bicycle. She loves to ride it. She was on her way to the store for a few things, less than a half mile away, and I'm installing an adjustable tv mount in the kitchen. Spent the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon in the emergency room.
Thanks for all the well wishes. She appreciates them.

Thanks all. It was a bicycle and down hill. I still have no idea what the frack happened. I picked myself up, brushed my knee and ankle that had some scuffed skin. Then say the cut on my elbow. I felt my elbow and realized that ball was gone. I feared crushed, but it is just slid back about a 1/2 inch. Needs to be re attached and I am will be on the mend. It's getting it attached that seems like it is taking forever.
Bruises and sore but mobile. If I can get a cast in the position it is right now I can make do.
