Actually the one with Tom Hanks where she played a Mermaid, cannot remember the title.
"Roxanne" was a classic, I still watch it if I come across it when channel surfing.

Oh man I loved "Kill Bill" and "K.B.2", where else can you see 1 against 100 with Samuri Swords, and the lone person wins!!
Anything of Quentin Tarintino's is a must see for me.

You said it! Dusk Till Dawn is the best...music ROCKS! By the way, what sound do you make when you fall or throw a rock in water and that is the name of the Movie, he, he, he.

Welcome to Missouri, Trixie. Sorry you won't be here long enough to really get into our rivers. Re: flyrods, it depends on where you're planning to spend the most time and how much money you're willing to spend. If you're willing to spend a couple hundred dollars, I'd steer you toward a Sage Launch -- pretty fairly-fast action and sensitive feel, good for a beginner who's beginning to "feel" the cast. For a good all-purpose rod for our area, 8-1/2 foot 5-weight will get you onto most of our local creeks and rivers. My line recommendation is Scientific Anglers Ultra 4 (until they come out with Ultra 5, that is), in Weight-Forward & Floating.

I'm based in Rolla, and I'm assuming you and your guy are at Ft. Wood -- 30 miles up I-44. If you have any questions about the local streams, let me know.
