Hello all, proud to be here!

Hello all im so glad i have found this site and look forward to getting to know you all "well at least some of you, lol". i'm relatively new to fly fishing and have fell in love with it. the sad thing is i am limited to local fishing spots. tight budget you know how that is. i live in the denton tx. area and do most of my fly fishing at blue river, oklahoma. it so very nice there and beautiful scenery. if YOU havent havent been there you should! i love the fishing in the winter but dont have a clue how or if i can catch trout in the summer months, any advice would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the group!

There's another good area close to you- the LBJ grasslands near Decatur. They've even got one of the lakes set up as catch and release and maybe fly fishing only.

Trout can be caught in the summers up in the Beaver's Bend area of Oklahoma, but that's near Texarkana.
