Default My first brown trout

I am so so happy. Yesterday, I caught my first ever brown trout. Of course I released it, but I have only been catching rainbows. He or she was so beautiful. My b/f was with me and bless his heart, he didnt catch anything. Just couldnt wait to share.

Hi Trixie,

Congratulations on your first Brown Trout. Don't razz your boy friend too much.

Atta Girl Trixie, make your fella proud!
And let him know that he needs to get used to it, most fellas I know that have a gal that fishes, get outfished.
I blame it on being behind the oars all the time!!

Congrats Trixie,

I got my butt handed to me last weekend...along with every other guy on the river. Believe it or not, it wasn't that hard to get used to and I'm actually pretty darn happy about it. Of course, I can't let that happen every trip. Brownies are cool.

I think there are two forms of fishing luck that are legit and have genuine effect: Beginner's luck and Girl luck. Your boyfriend didn't have a chance.

I'm just kidding, good work there!
