Default Looking for some help with images of lures

Hello all,

Thanks for allowing me to join the discussion. While I'm not a fisherman currently, I am interested in the subject as a whole.

Also, I'm hoping to get in contact with some folk who can help me track down photos of the following flies:

dry fly - elk hair caddis
stonefly - poxyback
wet fly - flashback
streamer - stanley
terrestrial - black fur ant
crayfish

I'm an illustrator and would like to create some sketches of these for a small project. If you have some photos please let me know!

Thanks in advance.

- Roger

PS: I hope this solicitation isn't in violation of the rules. If so, please accept my sincere apologies and I'll withdraw the request.

OK, would 10 bucks per image help?

Hi Roger,

Have you done a Goggle search on each of these flies? Have you went to On line fly shops that sell flies? Try the sites below and see if they have what you are looking for. Finding pictures of these flies is not hard.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for your reply and advice. The problem is that those are generally copyrighted images and to use them as reference would be wrong. That's why I'm asking some of the folks out there to help me out.

I don't expect anyone to do it for free, so I'm offering a little dough for people's trouble. So, if anyone is interested please send me a PM. Otherwise, thanks for your trouble and I'll not disrupt the forum again.

- Roger
