This is one for after they are cracked. We always used Johnson's Waterproof Tape. I'd always get a wide roll (tears easily down the center), and it was like having two rolls. I'd just wrap the crack, callous, tender spot each day and take it off at night. It would usually heal fast. TW (pga)used to use the same tape.

Try fishin' in the North Atlantic
I'm a superglue guy myself followed by duct tape to prevent further damage
after that, olive oil on the lips and Bag Balm on the hands and face
