Default Tell me about your Patagonia Riverwalkers with the Sticky Rubber Star Tread Soles

Has anyone tried the Patagonia Riverwalker Wading Shoes with the Sticky Star Tread Soles. Describe the stream bed and tell me how well they grip. Your input will be appreciated as I search for an alternative to LL Bean's AquaStealth, which is too narrow for my foot. I'm also trying to avoid studded rubber like Orvis's new boot and Simms studded only AquaStealth.
I believe we will be encountering more prohibitions on felt soles in order to prevent the spread of problems like Whirling Disease, Didymo, etc. Thank for any info.
