I was getting notification on my gmail when anyone answered or pm'd me but I don't anymore.....what happened?

I am still getting notification in my Email. You are signed up for Email notification and should be getting it. Maybe your spam blocker is blocking Email from NAFFF.

I wonder if anyone else is having a problem?

Go to your User CP (above menu) and select the List Subscriptions on the left side menu options. It will list all the threads that you have posted/created. There is a column that shows the frequency of your email notification for each thread. I believe you can change them there if you want. As far as, having the same problem I have noticed a few of them not coming my way either. I'm not sure what the reason is but it may be these settings that I just describe that have something to do with it.

Also, when your submitting a post to a thread in the Additional Options section below where you type up your post, there is a Thread Subscription which allows you to set the frequency as well. I think it is set to Instant.

It could be a number of things from email servers between the forum and your internet provider. It is hard to pinpoint such things. I'll check into it more when I have a chance.
