I carry the red and green, red is nice for silk and hair bugs. The green works on modern lines, just clean with a mild soap (Ivory ) first, then dress the line with a thin coating of green.

Most bamboo owners know better than to use the green label, but the red label is great.

Ok I have been doing a lot of studies on this.. I spoke with many old time fishermen including my Dad and Grandfather. They did use it then for the reson of floating there line but not anymore due to damage to line tested . dad is a guide. but he does use and so do I on my Dry flies.. If you use a ver small amount and rince and wipe your hand before fishing it is incredible!! fly will foat most of the day with no effort.. gives great presintation.. and in my sight it will even help with beginers...
