Default Looking for article by Lee Wulff

I think it was published by Field & Stream but could easily be mistaken. It was a magazine article titled "The Golden Years", not a book. I would like to get a copy of it if anyone remembers it and knows who published it.

Thanks,
Jim

The book The Complete Lee Wulff, edited by John Merwin, is a collection of Lee's magazine articles
My copy is at my father's and I'll check to see if "The Golden Years" is included when I visit later in the week

Well, I brought the book home yesterday. There's 44 chapters in it but no article by the name "The Golden Years". There are however some with similar titles such as "The Wealth of Age" and "The Old Timer"
The book is a good read anyways.

I'll see what info I might get. Every other Tuesday I go to a place and tie with an old author, Chuck Tryon, who knew Lee Wulff. In fact he is going to show me some flies tied by Mr Wulff, hopefully this next Tues. Long shot but he might know of the article.

Thanks Rip. If you read "The wealth of years" and he talks about "fly fever" he caught from black flies up in Canada somewhere that's the one. I'll have to get that book.

I liked most of his articles, but that one in particular.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
Jim

Hey Jim

I saw Chuck Tryon tonight, and ask him if he remembered the article. He said that it sounded familiar. He didn't know where to find it. Sorry.

Jimmie
