Default Fly fishing in the west?

Heya folks,

I'm trying to start up an out west fly fishing website and am interested in hearing people's ideas about what are the most ideal fly fishing spots of any type out west. I appreciate anyone who's willing to contribute their opinion.

Thanks a bunch!

Dave

I'm very happy with the fishing that surrounds me in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Reno. I have a little bit of everything around me.

West depends on where you're refering to. My expertise is the Sierra Nevada Mtns. and are definately the best in Calif. Good fishing in the entire region from South of Bishop to the Nevada border and beyond. Walker River quality of fish is good and more south and higher elevation has the Golden Trout (Ca. State Fish). That's the readers digest version of Calif. fresh water Flyfishing. This doesn't include the coastline of the Pacific Ocean......
