Hi Pete,

Yes, we have Spotted Sea Trout with very tender mouths. No, we don't have any Rainbow Trout.

When I left Alaska I moved to Washington State, then Arizona and finally ended up in Florida. My wife was born and raised in Florida. While I was working my wife went all over the lower 48 and then to Alaska. After retirement we (She) decided that it was time to return to Florida where her family is located. Afters we moved to Florida I had convinced her to move up to Tennessee. Then the housing market failed so we will be in Florida for some time to come. Not the worse place to be for fishing.

Frank

Ok, I wasn't sure. It seemed a bit warm for trout.

I bet you miss the Alaska fishing? I'd love to go there on a fishing trip.

Pete

I hear you on the Alaska fishing! I lived there for 16 years and really miss the fishing and hunting. Sure would like to go back for a fishing trip someday.
My favorites are:
1. trout
2. steelhead
3. salmon
One of these days I'm going to try carp. I keep hearing about fly fishing for carp and it sounds like fun but haven't tried it yet.

Trout......rainbow & brown. Will fish for brookies this spring.

Smallmouth. A small one fights like a bigger anything else. I see a trip to Lake Erie with a fly rod in my future.

Big bluegills in my pond. They'll bend my 4 wt pretty good.

Since I've only been in this religion a short while, here's my list:

1) Trout
2) Smallmouth
3) Sunfish (or any other panfish)
4) Largemouth
5) Anything else dumb enough to take a fly that I plunk out there
