Default Fish Beauty Mark?

We went to Strawberry today and for me the catching was slow, for Mojo...well he just sucks! LOL His turn I guess.

Anyway, this cutt came in at 22" bit I noticed this mark on its belly (actually kind of to the side)
Anyone ever seen this?

Well, I don't believe there's anything out there that says a fish can't have a "tat" too.

Now for the guy from AK. to get technical;

I would guess when looking at the pigmentation exhibited in the tissue of the pelvic fins that the spot is just an anomaly caused by a deposit of that same pigment. There could be any number of physical reasons for the misplaced pigment but since the fin next to it shows no evidence of injury nor does the area where the color is present I will stick to "anomaly" for an explanation.
