I said virtually the same thing in the previous thread on this subject. I said white though. Fish have white bellies for a reason.

For me being able to see my line improves my ability to catch fish so I lean towards brighter colors. I do not like fishing an indicator and just watch the bends in the fly line for movement. I do not have the experience to say whether one color vice another effects strikes.

montanaangler, I notice you link to your website on every one of your posts. I'm not so sure that is playing by the rules for this site.

as for line color, I always opt for more subdued colors unless I'm teaching or practicing. Why give the fish any edge?
