I haven't used the zero gravity, but I know that Orvis is discountinuing that line, don't pay full price. FlyshopCcoseouts.com has them for around $400.

I've also seen some good prices on EBay.

I know what you mean but it sure is hard to pass up when you see quality gear on sale with such a steep discount. What the heck, we all need another rod don't we? LOL!

I've seem Helios's for sale at the $400.00 rate. Even in these uncertain times I'm certain that I need one!

I have the 9' 6 weight and absolutely LOVE IT! The rod got a bad rap and I have no idea why. IT IS FANTASTIC. I have the mid-flex. I don't think it needs a heavier reel, infact most my reels are very light. It balances out perfect with the older LA reels or my Vosseler.

The company called MUD HOLE has blanks at real good prices for T3's, Trout Bums, and the Zero for you rod builders.

Hi Jackster,

Where are you seeing Helios rods for $400. That would be a good buy for sure.

Frank, a local forum member had a couple for sale as did/does Bob Marriots (haven't checked today to see if there are any left)
If only that bail-out money went where it should have... I would be on a $400.00 Helios in a snap!
