Default Orvis fly tying book

My wife picked me up the Orvis fly tying book. I was wondering if this is a good book. Reading the Orvis fly fishing book, Appears very good.

It depends on what you consider "good". I have that book, got it for Christmas from my wife.

It explains alot, but I'm more the type who either needs to see someone tie it or have exact, step-by-step instructions. I've only tied one fly and it was based around the Black-Nosed Dace that is the second fly that it instructs you to tie. I didn't have any materials that the real fly called for, so I improvised with what my wife had on hand.
