Some folks find them OK, some have problems with leaks. If you are getting them for a starter pair give them a try. You might google for closeouts or look for some other comparable price wise.

Thank you, I think I will end up going with the cabelas or LL bean brand in the same price range.

I've had pretty good luck with Cabelas in that price range. I've got a pair of Simms now that I got on closeout.

I have a pair of the white river waders. Bought them 2 years ago, still going strong. Also basspro will work with you on a return if it is after the warranty because it is their own brand.

Don't know exactly what pair your looking at, but Orvis has these on sale. I got a pair last year. I haven't had them on the water yet, but for breathables, it'll do for as much as I use them:
