Default Klepper kayaks

I just picked up a early 70's vintage Klepper Aerius folding sea kayak
Anybody know anything about 'em ?
The canvas looks good and the frame is complete. There's what looks to be rubber flotation bags that I'm not too sure about.
Maybe we'll take it out for a spin tomorrow if the weather's good. The thing's huge !

Just browsing their site it looks like you got a winner. Plenty of parts and repair stuff if ever have problems. Is yours the 17 footer?

Looks to be the top of the line 17' 11" double. Of course being nearly 40 years old, it's not exactly in "top of the line" shape
The guy I got it from (free) was wondering out loud if he had the sailing package. I hope he gives it some more thought

An old picture of the frame without the skin from a German site

Sure looks like a nice rig, and the price was right! Congrats!
