I belong to several and moderate several....just happens LOL
I belong to locals where I can learn and maybe help, plus specialty sites like Fiberglass or bamboo, plus there is the furl board.
Plus I like Washington, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho where I travel to fish.
Owning a bunch of Winston's I frequent that site, but no education there, just some good friends.
Forums can be like reading a book. You get different info....sometimes. Some of it is really great stuff.
As far as activity and stuff I can sink my teeth into, this is the MAIN site.

I belong to three fly fishing forums, five conventional fishing forums, four muskie forums, and a dozen other forums I admin for ( non fishing related). This site, my friend's british fly fishing forums and my other friend's fishing forums are the one's I visit mostly. I use to belong a fly fishing forum that would not allow purists on their boards, great forum but the owner had five sponsors and no personal cash, he ran out of money quite fast.

Let's see....
  • There's the club site
  • a local fly
  • 4 large fly sites ....akin to this one
  • 4 regional saltwater fly
  • a general surf fishing
  • a local kayak fishing
  • and the fiberglass board
..... I really only visit 3 or so regularly...... and a few very rarely

Nope, I'm a one forum man,

WOW! A wasilla man!! Have you ever seen Sarah Palin out cheating with her husbands best friend? It sure must feel great that a local was a heart attack away from having her hands on the red button!

I belong to 8+ forums -- several based in USA -- several in Canada -- couple based in UK -- I frequent 5 or 6 daily -- some every other day or so -- it helps keep me up on what's going on in the world of fly fishing -- I also have several blogs I keep in touch with -- as well as maintaining my main blog itself -- so maybe this is a cure for cabin fever or just plain madness LOL LOL -- but to me it just means I'll even be busier once trout season opens in April
Tight Lines,
Mike

You guys should check out the Drake Magazine forum. Non of you could take it, trust me. Being a new member is like being, a rush in a new Frat. Lots of hazing, name calling, insults, total embarrassment. But yet it is a fly forum.
