Default moveing,,,,,,flies?

Hey all,
My son may be moveing to teh WA-OR border with his mother in a couple months. Was wondering if any one lives or fishies out there? How good is it?
What kinds of flies should I ty him before he leaves? Thanks for any and all info

Hi Bear,

The Washington Oregon border covers a lot of territory. Where ever he is located there will be some fishing. The streams and rivers feeding into the Columbia will hold fish. There is trout in many streams, SM Bass, Salmon, and even Walleye in parts of the Columbia. One problem with Salmon in the Columbia is the restrictions to try and bring them back from very poor fish returns.

I think your best bet is to wait till he gets there and see what fishing he is going to get into.

That is true Frank I guess I could have narrowed it down a little. He will be liveing right by teh Walawala and about 30 minutes from the columbia.
