Frank,

No argument on getting a good rod to improve all aspects of your casting. I remember when I traded my 8' 5wt. Fenwick HMG down on my 7' 9" Far & Fine, the difference was immediate! The better rod afforded both more range and better control equaling more accuracy. I guess the thread did what I thought it would, it got us talking back and forth. That's why I come here. I like a good exchange of thoughts and experiences.
