I got one out of the pack and did some gentle stretching. It came out nice and straight.

Thanx all.

I'm off today to do some feeshin'.

Hopefully, I'll get a bit of luck and get some pics.

Later days, Willie Mays

Oh yes, I fished all day yesterday with a new furled leader I got from Joni. It has one strand of Kevlar built in to sink a little better, it worked GREAT! I'll be using it a lot for wets and nymphs/streamers. And, with that little bit of sinking capability, I could keep using my floating line and didn't have to switch to my sink-tip. Granted this is a stream where I didn't need a lot of depth.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm just getting caught up. Best way to straighten most furled leaders is to grab each end and give them a pull, that will usually remove any of the curves the leader may have taken. Sometimes you'l also see a slight kink where the leader tapers down. Sometimes a pull will also help with these, if not, try rubbing them between your fingers. That will usually slightly reposition the transition point and smooth out the leader.

Hope that helps
