Gentleman,

I have a Hardy Smuggler, brown blank, gold wraps, tipped black. On the butt section hand written is; 8', #6, C/O.Each of the other 3 sections has #19 also in script.

Can anyone out ther tell me the meaning of the "#19", and or C/O?

Thank you,
Best regards,
Bob T

Hi Bob,

Don't have a rod by Hardy and will guess it is the production number matching sections. Welcome to the forum, do you fish with this rod?

You could contact Hardy to find out the history on the rod.
