Fly Rod and Reel and American Angler are decent on occasion. Half of this past spring's FF issue of Grey's was outstanding. I'll buy Fish and Fly the next time I see it, but that's a fairly rare event.

I'd rather hunt fish than bait deer any day.

most magazines are a waste of money. they have just a bunch of promotions for new products that we already know about or a bunch of techniques for beginners that we already know.

the only good this is when they have a decent entomology section.

The Drake is hands down the best Fly Fishing magazine out there. Top quality photography, with timely and insightful stories by good writers who LIVE TO FISH!!

Love it!!!

The Canadian Fly Fisher and Fly Fusion are two of my favourite magazines.....both published here in Canada too (sorry for patriotic outburst LOL LOL; besides I got to hang out with the CFF gang at the Toronto Sportsmen Show; my hat's off to such folks as Nick P., Nancy C., the Aoki brothers, as well as Chris M.).....and I'm partial to Eastern Fly Fishing too (since the first fly fishing article I had published was by them....sorry for self indulgence there LOL LOL)....but I learn something from most of the fly fishing publications....as for web I love Catch and Far&Away (again self indulgence as I had an article accepted there).
