Default Hook Question

Does anyone make a fine wire streamer hook? Maybe in a #4 or 6, with a 6X length?

I don't know of one being available. Daiichi and Tiemco make their 6x streamer hooks with heavy wire. An issue with a fine wire streamer hook with a long shank is the chance for the gape to flex open.

I looked through a few dealer books and some manufacturer sites. I could not find a hook in that configuration.

http://killroys.com/chart/hook-charts/ 6xl 1xh looks like the best you're gonna do (Tiemco 300, Daiichi 2340)

Hi mudbug,

If you drop back to a 3X long there are some hooks with fine wire. The Tiemco 109BL for instance. It uses extra fine wire. It has a down turned eye.
