Default Easy Material Holder

Well I was at my desk tonight tying some crawfish, trying to whip finish under the tail and I found an easy way to hold material so you can tie off easy. Just thought I would share a picture. All you need is a rubber band, and It only works if you have a C-Clamp style vise.

You better patent the idea quickly. We'll see it in a high dollar catalog for $9.99 plus shipping!

All this time, right under our noise. I could have used that ideal the other day when I was applying epoxy to my flies. Thanks for the tip.

Need to pick yourself up some cross-lock tweezers in different sizes. I bought some a couple months ago and I can't believe how much I use them.

Actually, I think I could open the rubber band and put it under and around the base of my vise.
What I use for this situation is short sections of plastic drinking straw. When you cut the tube up the side, it curls around itself. You can open it up put it over the material, fly, hook and it curls around to hold legs etc out of the way.
