When you watch the video all the way through, a bunch of other videos show up at the bottom. If you put the cursor on them the name of the video pops up. There are four in this series. All linked to this video.

I just tied fly number nine. It has perfect round dots with skinny little borders around them. None of the top colors are in the bottom. And the bottom color barely creeps up on the side. One spot on each side like this /\. It's got to be a pretty good video to explain something well enough to get it down this well in nine flies.

I saw a video with Kelly Gallop and he said it's best on big heads not to make them to dense. They throw the water out better when you cast them.

I have had a couple of people ask me about stacking deer hair lately, so I'm doing this post just to get the thread on the first page. It was getting to be a bit hard to find the video I learned to stack hair from. I just tied this big Pike fly. It's about 6 1/2" long, and has a head About an inch and a half wide.
