Default Input on vise

I have a friend who is going to sell me ( very cheap ) a Renzetti Pro 2000 with the deluxe base.Just would like some input from those of you who have been tying for a long time as I am new to this,pros and cons.Thanks,Larry.

Larry: The Renzetti is a top of the line vise, you can't go wrong with it. We have lots of members here that own Renzetti vises.

Thanks for the response Larry,it looks pretty nice but you never know.I think I'm going to like this,I shoot traditional archery and make my own arrows,kind of the same thing.Larry.

I will give you the designation L2 Larry, that way we don't get the Larrys mixed up here. I use a Renzetti and they are a good tool. If you are getting a deal, all the more reason to own one.

Larry: Yes it is! Fly tying is very much the same thing, it is great catching a trout or salmon on something you tied. When I was younger and lived in Alaska I also shoot traditional archery, I had a custom Black Wolf long bow by Fonrtier Archier, I think they went out of business. I shot a few moose with that setup.
