Default Lessons to learn

One of the great fishing pleasures I have is the endless discoveries when tying flys. I do have standard patterns that I tie but I'm always looking for different, better, or the unusual patterns/material/techniques. I've posted many comments about Davie McPhail and my versions of his flys. His latest post on youtube may be my current favorite. There is so much to learn in this one video.

JJ: I feel the same way, that is what makes tying so interesting, there is just so many great patterns out there and so little time!

Thank you for the link. I really enjoyed that. Got an extra little treat too. After that video was another with Dave "marrying feathered wings". Good stuff.

I also like Davie McPhail, but another series of fly tying videos is the Anglers Art. I have picked up quite a bit watching these. And on YouTube there is also David Cammiss - he does a good job explaining and showing as well.

Thanks Webrx, the Anglers Art vids I've watched so far tonight are valuable indeed.
