Hi Everyone,

I have one I bought for whipping splices. That is where you hold the splice in your hands and spin the bobbin abound the splice. It works great to get the tension just right. But, it is not good for that application as it spins as it wraps around the splice. With the tube coming from one side it is out of balance. It is well made and would be good if you used it for regular tying with a lot of different sizes of thread.

I have a couple, and keep black on one of them. I don't really use either one now that I have the norvise bobbin. I will admit it's a pain to wind thread on the norvise spools, but I really like the bobbin.
